35 weeks and 4 days to go before i have alex

It's a little less than a month before I have alex. I am so nervous. I mean i love being pregnant but i hate this heat. It's ten times worse with the heat since its been so hot here.

The news is out now. My fiance' and I are going to have a baby boy in sept. His name is going to be Alexander Scott.I can't believe that we are going to be parents. We have so much to do to get the apt ready for alex.We are defiantely looking forward to it though.

4th Quarter started

My classes for 4th quarter started already. I am already in week 4 of classes. I can't believe that. Classes are going good so far. My Juvenile law class we got an easy break due to the school messing up on the site etc, the teacher told us there will be no mid-term exam,no final exam and no group project and that the homework from weeks 1-3 are already credited. He is basically giving us a free pass, but we still have to do the discussion questions and the quizes. I have to write a 2 page paper where I have come up with a fictional character and walk him/her through the juvenile justice system. Through the juvenile court system and the adult court system. I have to come up with a serious enough crime that the character will be put away in jail for life. That is going to be a hard thing to come up with, but i am sure that ican do it.
My other two classes are going ok. I am doing pretty good in my math class. and my word processing class i am doing decent in.

Christmas

Josh has to work today but after he gets home from work, we are going to his parents for dinner and to open presents. This is definately a better christmas for josh and i than last year.
We had a minor roof leak last night in our apt. We made the landlord aware of the leak. I just hope that he can do something about that.
Things are definately looking up for Josh and I. We have been in the apartment since February 2008.

Winter storm 2008

We have had over a foot of snow fall so far from the last storm, we have had two storms since last week. I swear will the snow fall ever end.I thought that we would have a fairly mild winter like we did last year, we didn't get that much snow last year. We had to actually shovel our drive way, because the landlord doesn't have someone do that for him. I am so sick of this winter weather. I want it to be warm again.

Winter storm 2008

We got hit pretty hard with snow thursday and friday. It was really nice to watch the snow fall from inside our apartment.Josh and I didn’t go anyplace on friday. We were suppose to go down to see my dad,ellen and jess,but i wasn’t feeling good. We had mcdonald’s the night before and the chicken that I had, had butter on it. The butter upset my stomach. I have a very sensitive stomach.

We are hoping to be able to go see them on wednesday, since that is josh’s next day off. They had to put one of the cat’s down Prince Nik. We had nik for 11 years. He lived a good live, extremely spoiled. He will be greatly missed. The day that Ellen told me that, josh and i went over to his parents house, to get our christmas tree and also to hug our cat(rayne). The lose of nik hit me really hard.

Loss of a pet

My parents had to put one of their cats down. Sir Nicholas. He was 11 years old. He was the friendliest cat around. He will be greatly missed by those that knew him. Now my parents have 3 cats.My parents got Nicholas and his sister zoe about a month after i graduated high school back in 1997. they were about 4 weeks old when we got them.I wish that there had been something that the vet could have done for him. He will be greatly missed.

They have a dog named logan(he is still a puppy). 
There is also another dog named maddie who is jess's dog. Maddie is more friendly than logan right now.

Cold and Snowing

I am just looking outside right now and very cold outside at the moment. I went and started josh's car so when he goes to work its warm for him. This is definately weather i don't like being out in.It's definately a good day to stay inside and sleep or read or do something on the computer. Josh went to work and i am home doing homework.Thank god, there is only about 2 weeks left of classes than i am done for the semester.
Things are definately better this year for Josh and I than they were last year. As i had previously posted, josh and i had been living in shared living this time last year, things are definately better this year than they were last year.


Classes thus far

Classes are almost done for the semester. They will be done on the 19th of this month. I got a A on my criminal procedure paper. I was amazed that i did so well on it. Keyboarding i am getting an A and my communications class i am getting a B.
I will definately be passing all my classes this semester.
Than i have break from the 19th of this month till jan 12th 2009.

A year ago today. Josh and I were moving into our shared living situation. He was jobless and we were "homeless". Things have definately gotten better for us. He has been at AAA for a year on the 9th of this month. We are in our own apartment and have been since Feb 2008. I am in college full time and doing awesome. We are back in herkimer county where we both belong and feel comfortable.
Living in Utica and the shared living situation was our low point in our relationship. We both agreed we will never do the shared living situation again. We are much better on our own.

Weekend

Josh and I went to see my dad this weekend. It was good to see him again. I had to see him for my own piece of mind. I know that my dad's health is not that great right now. We also met the girl that is living there with them. She is nice. She and Josh have a lot in common. I am not worried about it at all. I tend to think that the three of us can be friends. I mean i don't have very many female friends that i trust around here anymore.
I am not trying to get anyone upset. I have no problem with josh having friends and they are female. I trust him.
I think that i was scared to meet her because i thought that my dad was replacing me in his life. I know that my dad loves me. I am his kid after all. Despite what i have done in the past. I have grown up a lot in the 2 and a half years that i have been out of their house.
I am more focused on what i want. I finally told my dad that Josh and I are engaged to be married.

I have started to renew my faith in god. I started losing faith in him, because of a lot of things were happening. I am starting to slowly regain my trust and faith in god again.
I am doing bible study again which is helping me greatly. I am also getting rid of the negative people in my life.

I am no longer changing majors. I am going to stay with criminal justice. It might just come in handy one of these days.

Almost done with classes

I am almost done with classes for the first semester. I am passing everything. Next semester i am taking intro to psychology, intro to Criminal justice and a pre-math class. I am pretty sure that i will pass the intro to psycho, intro to criminal justice but the pre-math class i will definately need help.

I am starting college classes soon for my criminal justice asociats degree. I am taking the classes online. which  i am hoping will be easier for me.Ths time i am determined to graduate college. I am determined to get a 4.0 GPA. I was able to do it once before and i am sure that i can do it again.  I am taking three classes this semester, so i am just hoping that i can handle it.

 Josh  and I had to move into a shared living situation back in November of 07 due to the house being sold from under us. At first we didn't like the living situation but things have calmed down now that one of the room-mates has finally moved out. We now have a bigger room with more space which is a great help to us.
We are in the process of trying to find an apt but we aren't in a rush to move out of here just yet.
